IT Systems & Support Manager

Job Description

TheHomeMag | Cape Coral, FL | Full-Time, Onsite
$80,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience

Be the person our people are glad to call.

You know technology. You also know that behind every frozen laptop, missing permission and failed video call is someone trying to get their work done.

TheHomeMag is looking for an engaging, capable IT Systems & Support Manager who enjoys solving problems, helping people and taking ownership. You’ll be our primary internal technology resource for 80+ corporate peers, with occasional support for approximately 130+ additional homemaggers across our franchise organization.

This is a hands-on position with meaningful responsibility and access to outside specialists for cybersecurity, infrastructure and complex projects. You’ll solve what you can, coordinate the right expertise when needed and stay with the issue through resolution.

What You’ll Do

  • Everyday support: Troubleshoot computers, email, passwords, mobile devices, video conferencing, printers and connectivity. Keep people informed and make solutions understandable.
  • Employee setup and transitions: Coordinate equipment, accounts and permissions for onboarding, role changes and offboarding. Retrieve, reset and prepare equipment for reassignment.
  • Systems administration: Administer Google Workspace, including user accounts, access permissions, Google Groups and distribution lists, shared drives, email settings and security controls. Manage business-platform access, email signatures and our employee hub.
  • Equipment and office technology: Maintain asset inventories, warranties and replacement plans; coordinate internet, Wi-Fi, phones, printers, access controls and security-system support.
  • Software and subscriptions: Organize licenses, renewals and administrative accounts. Reduce duplicate tools and unused subscriptions.
  • Domains, DNS and hosting: Own and maintain company domains, DNS, hosting and related technical platforms, including administrative access, renewals, configuration and security. Coordinate with Marketing, which owns website content and CMS management, and outside specialists on technical changes, integrations and analytics infrastructure.
  • Data and documentation: Improve file storage, permissions, secure transfer practices and technical documentation.

You’ll also use AI tools confidently and thoughtfully to sharpen troubleshooting, accelerate research, improve documentation and eliminate unnecessary work, while protecting company information and checking results.

What You Bring:

You have demonstrated experience in IT support and systems administration, preferably across multiple locations. Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace is required, including user accounts, access permissions, shared drives, groups and email administration. You’re comfortable troubleshooting devices and connectivity, managing business-platform access and coordinating technology providers.

You have practical experience managing domains, DNS, hosting and email authentication, and can take ownership of their administration, security and continuity. You know when to engage outside specialists, clearly define the work needed and follow through to resolution.

Just as important, you are:

  • Approachable and patient. People feel comfortable asking you for help.
  • Organized and dependable. Requests, renewals and follow-ups don’t disappear.
  • A clear communicator. You explain technical issues in plain language.
  • Resourceful and curious. You learn unfamiliar systems and find practical solutions.
  • Accountable. You own the next step and follow through.

Relevant certifications and education are welcome. Demonstrated ability and sound judgment matter.

What We Offer

  • $80,000–$90,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
  • Full-time employment with Health, Dental, and Vision benefits.
  • Paid time off and a year-end holiday break.
  • Ownership of an important internal function, with specialist support available.
  • Minimal annual travel, primarily for our company conference.

Work location: This position is onsite at 1732 SW 47th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL, supporting local colleagues in person and colleagues across other markets remotely.
